Talk about 1st world problems...
I had a student today who told me that they didn't have their homework assignment. They forgot it at home. In reality, no big deal this happens all the time the student will receive a late grade as per school policy...the end.
Her mother emails me this afternoon...
"I'm sorry (my daughter) didn't turn in her homework this afternoon. Our maid must have thrown it away when she was de-cluttering our counter space. I'm sure these things happen all the time."
Oh of course...I mean when my maid walks in to my million dollar home I make sure to tell her not to de-clutter my expansive counter space. Silly maids.
LOL how ridiculous. My mother also always calls to fix my problems. Both my maid and my mother are SUPER convenient. PS, I love you and have great respect for the fact that you did not in fact hit this person :-D
ReplyDeleteI just don't understand what these kids will do once their parents aren't there to protect them. How does your child learn to defend themselves or become independent if you do everything for them?!!??! Drives me crazy!
