Nothing exciting is going on here.
Eleanore is starting to fight nap time and night time as well. She is getting another tooth at the bottom.
Smash is a good TV show...go watch the first 3 episodes on Hulu.
Zoey (baby #2) is doing well. 2 weeks until the next doctor's appointment and about 5 weeks until we know if I'll have to have a c-section or not.

20 week mini update
Today is the 20th week of my pregnancy. Nothing has changed since I updated last week about the gender reveal. I have only gained 2 pounds since the start of my pregnancy so I feel like I'm WAY smaller than I was with Ellie, but who is complaining.
The doctor (who I actually got to see today) explained more about the placenta being too close to the cervix and yadda yadda. I was put on 'pelvic rest' so I can get any checkups (in the lady department) and there can be no uhhh...extracurricular activity. That is to remain for the rest of my pregnancy OR until I get the next ultrasound around 26 weeks and they tell me everything is fine. If the placenta hasn't moved by 26 weeks then they are going to schedule a c-section around week 36 or 37 to avoid any chance of me going into labor. If I did go into labor I would start hemorrhaging and put myself and the baby in danger-no one wants that. I also have to call immediately if I have any bleeding, that means even if I have slight spotting I need to call. Craziness. HOWEVER...after all that is said the doctor told me it is highly likely that the placenta will move and it is only a slight chance of it not moving, so we are still praying that it moves.
Eleanore has some sort of pimple like rash on her face and she was running a fever the past few days. Unfortunately, that affected her eating habits again so I'm fearing she isn't gaining as much weight as she needs to. As of yesterday she started eating like a normal person again, there is no fever, but she still has that unsightly rash...poor baby. The nurse said it could be a reaction to her vaccinations. I say if it doesn't clear up by the weekend I'm taking her in to see someone.
Other than that she has started throwing these tantrums when she doesn't get what she wants. Can I tell you how hilarious I find them? Instead of getting angry or frustrated with her I just laugh because truly what else can you do with a 1 year old? I think laughing at her also throws her off because sometimes we can get her out of those fits in 10 seconds and she starts laughing too. I'm sure it will eventually get on our nerves once she starts talking and doing it in the middle of the grocery store but for now...HILARIOUS!
I finally have cravings, I didn't have them with Ellie bean but I do now. Current craving: chicken Caesar salad.

Zoey Grey
IT'S A GIRL!!!
Jeff and I went to the ultrasound yesterday morning and found out that we are going to have another little girl. I can't believe I'll have two daughters. My mom quickly reminded me about something I said when I was younger : "I don't even think I want kids, and if I do have kids I definitely want ALL boys." HAHAHAHA I really should watch what I say. In the short run it will be more economical because we have TONS of hand-me-downs, but now we'll have to pay for two weddings amongst all the other things....like 2 colleges, phones, cars, health care, clothes, dates...AGH! Jeff seemed a bit disappointed at first, I think he really wanted a boy but he is happy nonetheless...for a guy who was told that he may never have kids I'm sure he's super excited that he'll now have 2.
The ultrasound itself went fairly well. The baby is measuring a bit small so I'm a bit nervous that they might want to move my due date which means I'd have to take some time off work (let's face it I won't go back to work 3-4 weeks after giving birth that is ridiculous). I won't know about moving the date until I see the actual doctor on Thursday so I really really hope they keep the date the same.
There was one thing that is now going to worry me for the rest of this pregnancy or at least until I get the next ultrasound. My placenta is super close to the cervix which is called placenta previa (google it). If it doesn't move towards the end of this pregnancy then I will have to have a C-section and that is something I am simply terrified of. Not that it will hurt or anything, but the recovery is longer and it is more expensive and I liked the immediate gratification of holding my daughter and being able to regain normal function quickly. I'm praying that it moves. On the bright side though, that means I get another ultrasound (I only had 2 with Ellie) so I'll get to see the baby when it is a bit bigger!
Jeff posted some ultrasound pictures on his Facebook so you can check more out there. He spells Zoey with two Os like Zooey, but I don't know if I like it that way so the spelling is still up in the air for now.

P.S. I REALLY want some Marble Slab ice cream....almost enough to wake up Ellie and drive to Plano to get some.
